Fostering innovation and discovery
Harriman and Wilson Architects were selected to design an addition and renovations to the existing Research Institute, also designed by Harriman eight years earlier. The new two-story addition provides research space for the Basic and Clinical Sciences.
The new addition, organized around a new courtyard, provides offices and workspaces for seven new investigators. A large generic open lab and customized alcoves provide space for specific research instrumentation and equipment. Clinical sciences are supported by a patient infusion room, examination rooms and a nourishment center for ambulatory clinical subjects.
