University of Maine Augusta Student Center Renovation featured in Kennebec Journal

The renovation of the Randall Student Center at the University of Maine Augusta Campus is an important component of the school’s initiative to enhance its competitive position. This strategic renovation project is envisioned to create a welcoming facility for students that enhances the delivery of critical services such as Financial Aid and Student Advising. The new facility will also house an interdenominational prayer room, café, spirit store, student lounge and multipurpose spaces.

“We hope to build a community,” said UMA Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing Jonathan Henry. “In the center there are places for faculty the café…We hope this will help rebuild our community as we come out of COVID-19.”
