Forgue, Gatchell and Ouellette Named Senior Associates

We’re excited to announce the promotion of three Harriman Associates to Senior Associate positions: Samuel Forgue, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer; William Gatchell, AIA, Senior Architect; and Jamie Ouellette, AIA, Senior Architect.

A new chapter in Harriman’s growth, the addition of Sam, Will and Jamie strengthens our leadership team.

Samuel Forgue, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer, Senior Associate

Leading Harriman’s Boston office, Sam supervises the company’s civil engineering and landscape architecture studio.  Since joining Harriman seven years ago, he has managed a wide range of site/land development projects for a variety of Harriman’s corporate, municipal, and K-12 education clients. Sam is a passionate advocate for finding sustainable and resilient solutions to complex engineering challenges. . His expertise includes site planning, stormwater management, and permitting, handling the necessary communications and submission requirements associated with local planning boards, zoning boards, conservation committees, and state/federal regulatory agencies.

William Gatchell, AIA, Senior Architect, Senior Associate

Will is Harriman’s municipal market leader, focusing on projects at the local, county, and state levels. Since coming to Harriman nine years ago, he has been instrumental in helping the firm develop its expertise in facilities master planning and municipal design. ­ Leveraging a deeply analytical approach, Will guides his clients to make smart real estate and facilities decisions to help campuses and communities thrive. He has managed large projects in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Will has developed master plans for six campuses in the University of Maine system and several municipalities throughout New England as well as public safety planning and design for communities in Maine and New Hampshire. Will also co-chairs Harriman’s Sustainability Committee.  

Jamie Ouellette, AIA, Senior Architect, Senior Associate A highly experienced architect and project manager, Jamie is a leader in Harriman’s K-12 education studio. During his 20-plus years at Harriman, he built technical and project management skills working on retail, government, higher education and K-12 projects. He continues to manage teams in the firm’s school market, managing multiple projects that include complex occupied additions and renovations as well as new buildings. Detail-oriented and a champion of client service, Jamie often works with one school district on multiple projects over many years.
