Harriman Hires Ten

Stacey Stevens, Architectural Designer in Harriman Associates' Auburn office recently graduated from the University of Maine in Augusta with a Bachelor of Art in Architecture degree. While in college, Stevens coordinated the Art Architecture Society at the University of Maine Augusta (AASUMA) and started the first American Institute of Architects for Students (AIAS) in Maine . In addition, she coordinated two trips to Build Boston along with an architectural tour of Boston . Stacey is currently working on the Wentworth Intermediate School project in Scarborough . She resides in Monmouth with her husband and daughter.

Brian Laderbush serves as an Architectural Designer in Harriman Associates' Auburn office. He holds a Bachelor of Architectural degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island . He is currently working on the Bowdoin College Adams Hall project and the new Athletic Facility at Fryeburg Academy .

Patricia L. Korbet is a Structural Designer in Harriman Associates' Auburn office and is working on a new medical office building in Westbrook, and an office addition for Woodard and Curran. Prior to joining Harriman Associates she was employed at engineering firms in Portland , Maine , and North Conway , New Hampshire . Patti holds Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Art in Art History degrees, both from the University of Maine in Orono. She is a board member and newsletter editor for the Maine Section of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers). She resides in West Gardiner with her husband Matthew.

Jason Marcotte is a Commissioning and Balancing Technician in Harriman Associates' Auburn office. He is involved in commission and balancing of HVAC systems on numerous projects including the new high school in Exeter , New Hampshire ; Bowdoin College 's new residence hall; the Auburn Public Library; and various Shaw's Supermarkets in New England . Jason resides in Sabattus.

James P. Gauthier is an Architectural Designer in Harriman Associates' Portland office and is currently working on a new medical office building in Westbrook and the Cliff House in Ogunquit. Prior to joining the firm, James was employed at architectural firms in Boston . Gauthier holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural Center and a Bachelor of Art in English degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University . He is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional.

Mark M. Ouellette is an Architectural Designer also in Harriman Associates' Portland office. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston . He is currently working on new medical office buildings in Westbrook and Farmington , and the Cliff House in Ogunquit. Prior to joining Harriman Associates, Mark was employed at an architectural firm in Portland . He resides in Old Orchard Beach with his wife and two children.

Kathryn Austin is an Intern Architect in Harriman Associates' Auburn office. She is currently enrolled the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture program at the University of Maine at Augusta and will attend the Boston Architecture Center in the Fall of 2007. Kathryn is a member of the American Institute of Architects for Students (AIAS) and the Portland Society of Architects as an education liason. She is currently working on the South Portland High School , Durham Elementary School , and Westcott Junior High School in Westbrook. Kathryn resides in Saco .

Brian Berman is a Structural Designer in Harriman Associates' Auburn office. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Bates College . Prior to joining Harriman Associates, Brian was employed at PacWest Engineering in Albany , Oregon .

David Story is a Mechanical Designer in Harriman Associates' Auburn office and is currently working on the Franklin Memorial Hospital and L.L. Bean Outlet Store projects. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Hampshire . He resides in North Yarmouth with his fiancé'.

Heidi Brushwein is an Intern Architect at Harriman Associates' Auburn office and is currently working on the new athletic facility at Fryeburg Academy . Heidi is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently enrolled in the Architecture program at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston .
