The look of a turn-of-the-century
mill provided the theme for a prototype design for factory outlet stores
for this leading manufacturer of fleece wear. With about 10,000 sq. ft.,
the stores will allow Fruit of the Loom to market products from all its
subsidiaries, including B.V.D. and Gitano.
Brick veneer, ceilings with exposed structural steel, and wood floors
carry out the mill motif in the design. Custom-designed fixtures with
steel, punch-hole shelving and large casters continue the theme.
