Sacopee Valley Middle School
New 500-Student Middle School
South Hiram, Maine

This new middle school, which is located on the same site as the elementary and high schools, serves students in grades 5 through 8 in the Towns of Baldwin, Cornish, Hiram, Parsonsfield, and Porter.

Numerous portable leased classrooms for the existing schools on the campus were eliminated, and much needed space at the elementary and high schools was made available by the addition of the new middle school.

The school library is located at the center of the building with classroom wings radiating off the library, with each grade in its own wing.

A cafeteria, stage, and gymnasium, which can be sectioned off, offers flexibility for a variety of school and community productions.

The district’s offices has also been consolidated.
