The addition that created this performing arts center for both school and
public functions also established a new main entrance and an updated image
for this 1950s-era school.
A gallery where artwork can be displayed links the auditorium to the cafeteria
side of the school, allowing easy use of both spaces for the same events.
Outdoors, a covered open-air rotunda is not only a dramatic aesthetic element,
but offers shelter for those waiting to enter or leave the building.
Inside, computer-controlled lighting and sound systems represent the latest
in technology, suitable for professional performances.
