This new 17,000-sq.-ft. performing arts center will become the new home for music, theater, dance and the visual arts.

Included in the design is a 400- seat auditorium with state-of-the-art theatrical lighting, rigging, and sound systems.

Supporting functions of dressing and shower rooms, a green room, storage and stage craft areas provide much needed space to the school’s growing performing arts programs.

The center will also showcase the academy’s expanding fine arts collection. Museum galleries for painting and sculpture will offer appropriate temperature, humidity, lighting and security controls. This area, directly off of the lobby, can be opened during show intermission.

The facility is scheduled to be opened for the fall of 2008.
