This new high school on a 120-acre site replaces an outdated facility
on a small, in-town site.
The
new school serves the towns of Brentwood, East Kingston, Kensington,
Newfields and Stratham in addition to Exeter.
Classroom wings are designed for efficiency and flexibility, to
allow for easy adaptations to education program needs. Ample athletic
fields and a 2,000-seat gymnasium provides space for sports events
and practices that was lacking at the previous school. Space for parking
doubled, from 450 to 1,000.
A 1,000-seat auditorium
is available for community as well as school events.
With a traditional
design and brick exterior, the school fits well with the charm and
historic ambiance of the six towns it serves.
