| Renovations and an addition that doubled the size
of this 1950s-era school brought the latest technology into the educational
process, adding computer rooms, a library with a media-retrieval system,
and a communications system that links old and new sections of the school. Natural light and bright colors create an invigorating
atmosphere. A one-and-a-half-story bay window in the library provides
a sunny, light-filled reading area. A skylight outside the main office
brings natural light to a corridor. Steel culverts cover vertical supports in the library
and outside at the entrance, creating the look of classic columns without
the cost.
