The addition of a new wing nearly doubles the capacity of the John Mitchell Center, home to the School of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (ASET).

The new wing adds several testing labs, classrooms and computer labs where students and staff provide product and manufacturing testing services for local businesses.

The existing space has been renovated and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems updated to conform to new building regulations.

The building is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and has earned LEED certification.
