| This
coed dormitory for 220 students was designed with Orcutt Associates and
helps the university deal with an increasing demand for campus housing and
makes a residential summer program more attractive. A variety of living quarters are provided single
and double rooms with shared baths as well as 3- and 4-bedroom suites
with baths and living rooms. Porches at main entrances provide shelter and a place
for students to socialize. Inside, natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows brightens
small lounges above the porches and the large lounges on every floor.
A meeting room with a full kitchen is on the ground floor.
