This new structure is the landmark building for Maine's only
Catholic college the first building seen on entering the campus
from the front gate and the anchor of a quad at the back.
Designed with Orcutt Associates, the building is located at the highest point on campus, atop a hill overlooking Sebago
Lake.
Its design conforms to the site, with the back of the
building set into a gradual slope, facing the quad and the lake. A brick
facade with copper cladding on the upper floor gives the building a traditional
look that fits the context of the campus.
The building has 30 classrooms, some for seminars,
as well as computer labs, 50 faculty offices, and a 150-seat auditorium.
