This two-story center
has computer classrooms that can be adapted for varied uses, enabling
this community college to provide greater access to its programs, expand
high-demand programs, and accommodate a new associate in arts degree track.
The center has a contemporary, high-tech look that blends well with other
buildings on campus. A glassed-in pedestrian bridge connects with an adjacent
building, offering easy access and protection from the weather.
Seating and computer connections on the southern side of corridors on
both floors give students a bright airy place to work and socialize. A
masonry wall at sitting height surrounds a sunken terrace at the main
entrance, creating another inviting space for students to gather.
