12,300-sq.-ft. hospice house located on a 16-acre wooded site. Designed
to create a comforting, residential environment for end-of-life care, the
building features ten patient suites with bedroom, family area accommodating
overnight stays, private garden, and handicap-accessible bathroom. The new facility also includes a home-like kitchen/dining
area; a patient spa and beauty salon; a great room and adjacent media
room with entertainment center and children's play loft
A veranda at the entrance overlooks gardens, and two
screened porches are provided for summer months as well as an outdoor
play area for young visitors. A small chapel is provided along with meditation
and quiet areas throughout.
