Robert Klinedinst

Rob loves to eat fresh vegetables straight from his garden. Growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, next to an Amish farm and seeing family and friends garden sparked his interest in gardening.

At home in Poland, he has developed vegetable beds where he grows asparagus, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, all kinds of salad greens, carrots, beans, tomatoes, and peas. Each year he tries different varieties of organic vegetables. This year his favorite new variety was Red Sails leaf lettuce. The aspect that Rob likes most about growing vegetables is planning and organizing the raised beds and nurturing the plants as they mature.

Rob was interested in architecture at an early age and participated in summer architectural programs for high school students at the Catholic University of America and Cornell University. He excelled in both programs and chose Cornell for his architectural degree. After working in the profession for a few years, Rob completed an executive MBA program at Penn State. Like gardening, both architecture and management feed Rob’s interest in planning and organizing. That’s why he enjoys integrating campus planning, strategic planning, master planning, and space programming for educational institutions.

When not at work, you’ll find him at home with his wife, Jen, a product development manager, their son Samuel, their Border Terrier Otto (who loves to eat peas from the garden) and cat Bella, and his extensive collection of small die cast construction toys or out gardening, running, or mountain biking.
