Retail Division –Senior Project Architect/Project Manager/Studio Leader
Seeking a licensed Architect with ten or more years of experience, who plans and develops medium- to large-scope projects with many complexities, executes and coordinates projects, and may oversee a large staff of architects and technicians.
As a member of our firm the Senior Food Retail Project Architect / Architectural Project Manager / Studio Leader will be a large contributor to marketing as well as the design, programming and planning of food retail projects throughout the US as well as the State of Maine. Significant architectural project experience pertaining to architectural and Food Retail projects is required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited University
- Registered in the State of Maine
- Ten years of work experience as project architect / manager
- Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication and computer applications related to the practice of architecture
and engineering - LEED Accredited Professional
- Must be skilled and experienced in all architectural project phases from initial concept to completion and occupancy.
- Must have experience that includes conceptual design and programming, schematic design, design development, construction document production, consultant coordination, client interaction, construction administration, etc.
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Architectural Desktop is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of REVIT BIM software is a plus.
Higher Education Studio Project Manager The Project Manager/Architect will be responsible for the management, design, and construction administration of projects for Higher Education clients in Northern New England. This leadership position requires professional registration in NH & ME and a minimum of 10 -15 years of Higher Education design experience. The individual must be self-motivated and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects/tasks with minimal supervision, have a desire to learn, have excellent interpersonal skills and must have the ability to lead and work as a team player. The Project Manager/Architect will participate in business development activities and assist in developing proposals. The candidate must also have strong technical skills and experience producing code studies, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. Working knowledge of Revit is required.

K-12 Education Studio Project Manager
The Project Manager/Architect will be responsible for the management, design, and construction administration of projects for K-12 clients in Northern New England. The Project Manager/Architect will participate in business development activities and assist in developing proposals. The candidate must also have strong technical skills and experience producing code studies, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. Working knowledge of Revit is required.
Location: Auburn and Portland, ME
Registered Professional Electrical Engineer with the ability to obtain registration in other states, a minimum of 7 years of experience in designing building lighting, power, and systems. A focus on retail projects is preferred. Must be willing to travel coast to coast. Must be self-motivated and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision, have a desire to learn, have good interpersonal skills and must have the ability to lead and work as a team player. Must be able to perform comprehensive peer reviews within the electrical discipline and coordination with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, structural, civil and architectural trades. Must possess a strong working knowledge of project management, construction documents and specifications. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish ongoing relationships with clients are expected.
Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer with the ability to obtain registration in other states, a minimum of 10 years experience in the design of HVAC systems for educational, commercial, institutional, healthcare, and retail facilities. Must be self-motivated and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision, have a desire to learn, have good interpersonal skills and must have the ability to lead and work as a team player. Must be able to perform comprehensive peer reviews within the mechanical department. Must possess a strong working knowledge of project management, construction documents, specifications and ability to produce bid documents on CADD . Good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish ongoing relationships with clients are expected.
Applicants must possess a degree from a 4-year accredited engineering college. An EIT certificate, AutoCAD and Revit proficient.
